At La Favola, we are committed to authentic handcrafted Italian cooking using fresh, high-quality ingredients.

From our artisanal, hand-tossed, Neapolitan-style pizzas to our wide array of pastas, fresh seafood, salads and 100% grass-fed and free-range meats – our menu offers time-tested Italian classics prepared the way Italians cook… with love. We source locally where possible and to perfect our pizzas we even fly in a special flour and San Marzano tomatoes from Italy. We also have gluten-free pizza and pasta to make sure everyone can have a seat at our table.

Founded by slow-food-advocate Jawad Laouaouda (owner of the successful Bon Vivant Café + Farm Market in the nearby Del Rey neighborhood of Alexandria) and classically trained Chef Marco Tellaki, La Favola offers authentic, handcrafted Italian cuisine designed to be savored and enjoyed.

With experience at Michelin-star restaurants in Monaco and Italy, Chef Marco’s 20-year career serves him well in the kitchen at La Favola. He’s a big believer that food plays an integral role in our lives, so make it count.
